Frequently asked questions
Why did my test fail with a Lighthouse error?
Lighthouse occasionally times out or fails on the first run. Make sure your URL is publicly reachable, returns HTTP 200, isn't bot-blocked and try again.
What are good Core Web Vitals scores?
Google considers LCP < 2.5s, CLS < 0.1 and INP < 200ms as 'good'. Above these thresholds, ranking can suffer.
Mobile vs desktop — which matters more?
Google uses mobile-first indexing, so the mobile score is what ranks your site in search.
